Cool beats and nice stereo "sweep" sounds. You really nailed the desert atmosphere, but as RednWhite said, it needs a bit more...
Hmm...I'll try to make a subtle melody that goes with this, If It comes out "OK" I'll send it to you. BTW my friendly score for this would be a 10/10 ;)

hmm...

It definitely isn't worthless, I like the tone it sets, kind'a disturbing yet interesting to listen to because it has a somewhat arrhythmic beat, but it sounds like it was done on purpose. I could see this being used for some scene in a game or something. I gave you 5 for originality and 8 stars for execution.

...but this does not fit in the Drum N' Bass category, and its more of a longer loop of beats than a complete Song, you've managed to make your own beats, rather than using FL presets, but your bassline is cheap and makes no sense, therefore I give you a 0 rating.

Anyway...the title fits the theme, and as I see it, It was done as short project, just for fun, but it turned out well enough to be placed on newgrounds to get some notice.

the bassline is supposed to be like that, i just made this because i was bored. i literally just opened fl studio, and soon dragged over a sample, then another, and then just made a cheap fast bassline and exported it.

who cares what category it's in, NG doesnt have any decent ones anyway. same for loop/song

Nice...

I liked the minimalistic retro beat & bass, and the sounds you used were cool, the melody is a bit repetitive, but I liked it, its the kind of background music that fits perfectly while surfing the web, nothing I would dance to though :) ...1:52-1:56 reminded me of a part from Descent 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppVhPf D-27k&feature=related ---> PART(2:30-2:33)

could be better, but...

...don't let my low rating get you down, its 7 stars only because it sounds like it was recorded from a distance (which was most likely the case) and you can do better even with a plain headset, the "ending" doesn't flow into a perfect loop, and I bet you can do better. But overall it has a nice latin/spanish vibe to it and I would love to hear the complete piece with some chord progressions someday. I gave you 5/5 to give you a publicity boost and some motivation for future projects. Hope you get some money to help with the equipment, I hear potential :)

oi, thanks friend. I haven't been on Newgrounds in such a while. I got some equipment by the way. Recordings are on the way. I'll probably return to this sometime next month or so.

Hmm...

...on some parts it sounds a bit like a midi tune, but I don't mean it in a rude way, I like that type of sound if executed correctly. I like the melody the most, its very catchy, and the 2:00 piano part is very nice, sax could use a better sample, but its cool. Overall I gave you a 10/10 5/5 because I can hear all the effort you put into this, and as I said, I don't mind if the music lacks some high-tech effects and stuff, heck I still listen to some of the old NES tunes. Keep it up ;) Oh yeah, and the track has a nice loop which was good to have while writing a review.

actually, that midi-sound might be because on three of the instruments on this song, they're HEAVILY distorted base sounds off of the SNES game mario paint. For instance, the panning bell is the star ;). I'm glad you liked my song, thanks for taking time to review and vote, it means a lot to me!

Oh MAAAAN !!!

This could have been so EPIC !! The intro buildup was fantastic (till 0:43), the rest was not bad, but it seemed like you got stuck and didn't know how to expand to the next level, you tried to make it stronger by adding one louder synht to the melody but failed (well not miserably by any means ;) I'm just disappointed that you didn't deliver more...the solo part at 2:00 was a nice touch, but still... 5/5 for effort, 7/10 to make you feel bad and to make you fix this :) PS: Still luvin' your stuff ;)
